Save Money Shop Case Lot Sales

Save money shop case lot sales whenever they are offered throughout the year..  When they have these sales it is a good time to stock up on staples in your pantry.  Case lot sales are a familiar site where I live and in many states throughout the west.  No matter where I have lived from tiny apartments to a large home with lots of storage space I have always stocked up on the items that I use most.  I like the comfort of knowing that I have an ingredient, I bought it on sale and it will last for a while before I have to buy it again.

A few years ago my sister-in-law introduced me to this trick that she does. She marks all the items that she stores with a black sharpie marker with the month and year.  That way she knows two things: 1 that she bought it during that month, 2 how long it lasts before she needs to buy it again.  It really helps with toilet paper, shampoo, canned goods and garbage bags.  I know because of this system that I only need to buy tall kitchen bags once per year with the large box that you can get at a warehouse store.  It will help you save money.

With the rising costs of Everything it is a good idea to figure out what you need to buy and how much you can store or afford and then buy it.  Starting small is ok.  Buy an extra can of soup, salt or 2 packs of toothpaste next time.  It is hard to buy everything that you need all at once.  Plus, things run out at various times of the year too. So it is less of a burden on your wallet if you don’t buy all at once.

Once you know what you use you can plan for what your family likes to eat.  It is so much easier to go to the pantry for a quick ingredient when you are preparing a meal instead of having to run to the grocery store.  It will save you time and money and buying only what you absolutely need is the key. You can save money by shopping during case lot sales times throughout the year.
