Memorial Day Potluck Dessert

Memorial Day Potluck dessert is so easy to make, travel with and serve at any summer potluck gathering.  Simple pantry ingredients crank up a boxed cake mix to a whole new level.  No one will ever know that you used a mix for all of the ingredients. It’s taste scream summer fun time!

Don’t you love how Patriotic this dish looks on a plate?

I found the plates at a local home decorating store called Taipan Trading. They are cheap and so freaking adorable.  Less than $5 per place setting. That’s for both plates my friends. I layered the small navy polka dot large dinner plate and the larger white with navy dot dessert plate.Layering the plates on a fun red yellow plaid table cloth completes the look. Red dessert makes the table scape patriotic.

What a great Summer Patriotic Celebration Dessert.  It can start with Memorial Day in the end of May, Flag day in June and then again for the 4th of July. If you are in Utah they have one more Patriotic holiday July 24 called Pioneer Day.  Dessert for four holiday menus.  No worry with the repeats. Everyone will gobble it right up without even giving into the notion that you served it at the last holiday potluck party.

Reduce your stress at the block party too by preparing Memorial Day Potluck Dessert.

No need to worry and stew about what to make.

This is your recipe…. All your potlucks are covered, period for the entire summer.

Many of you will recognize the recipe as a Danish Dessert Strawberry Poke Cake. Well it is. Originally, not mine. It may have been featured on a box of Strawberry Jello or Danish Dessert

Danish dessert can be easily purchased at WalMart online or from Junket directly.

I just make the dessert look sexy on the plate.
